Located in a lively area near Place Bell, the recently opened Courtyard by Marriott Montreal Laval hotel promises an easy and pleasant stay. The hotel, which has 188 rooms, is part of the Espace Montmorency complex, which also hosts various restaurants and shops. Families will be delighted by the playgrounds set up in the center of the vast interior courtyard.

Step Back into the 80s

To the sound of retro music and amidst decor dominated by pink and leopard prints, Sergiolino restaurant literally transports us to another era. Just steps away from the hotel, this restaurant offers a very interesting concept for families: a shared meal. The generous portions of each dish are specifically designed to be shared. This experience allows for bonding and creates an authentic moment.

Here, Italo-American cuisine takes center stage. The Mozzarella in Carrozza appetizer is undoubtedly my culinary favorite.

Having fun at Zone 15

Zone 15 is an indoor recreational center offering arcades, laser tag, mini-golf, racing simulators, and a virtual reality arena. Laser tag games are purchased in sets of 4 games. After each game, you can see your team's score as well as your personal score. Its large multi-level area allows for the development of strategies.

4.Visiting Ferme Marineau

Ferme Marineau is a family story. Since 1921, five generations have been involved in the development and success of the business. Ferme Marineau offers pick-your-own strawberries, blueberries, flowers, and pumpkins. They also provide a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as freshly prepared products on-site.

For the most indulgent, the artisanal creamery stands out with its high-quality natural ingredients. In their recipes, the fresh fruits from the farm and homemade ice cream make all the difference.

To make your visit memorable, at the entrance, there's a mini-goat farm, a play module with a slide, swings, toy tractors, and picnic tables. For the full experience, you can also opt for the pick-your-own option. This grants access to a section reserved for pickers, where you'll find a café with additional picnic tables, a tented area, giant games, skill-based activities, and scenic spots for taking beautiful photos.

Dining in a Rustic Setting

Just 6 km from Ferme Marineau, Agneaux de Laval offers 100% local products. This environmentally friendly farm, dedicated to preserving the environment, raises its lambs outdoors with healthy, natural food. They also have their own beehives and poultry.

To savor the local gastronomy, we propose an extraordinary experience: a countryside meal under a gazebo, right in the middle of a field. It's an opportunity to enjoy, take your time, and truly savor the moment.

Cinq à l'aventure

Sarah Witty

In 2011, I do my baptism of the air: towards the West Indies. A year after the terrible earthquake in Haiti, I will spend two weeks there to help rebuild the country. This cultural immersion leads me to a real passion for travel. Just back, the adventure calls me again. Sometimes as a couple, sometimes as a family, I dive back into different journeys. Over the years, I try different ways to travel but the home exchange remains my favorite. I like to meet cultures and breathe in the great outdoors. A mother of three, I travelled across Canada twice and made about 20 home exchanges around the world.
