Hey Hey the adventurers! 

Here are the chronic Weekend ideas to give you ideas for activities and make you fully enjoy the weekend with family.

Today, the ideas are for people from Sherbrooke region, Abitibi and Montmagny near Quebec city. It's a perfect week-end to get out of big cities and be charmed by regions

People of all ages are welcome in Mont-Orford for the La Grande Coulée festival. I know, its a local beers festival, but there is a Family Zone that you will enjoy with your kids.

What to expet ? ski lift to get on top of the Mont-Orford, Family Zone (including a little hiker quizz), hiking with beer tasting station for adults, shows, foodtrucks, etc. What a great way to start the fall season !

Opening hours for the Family Zone :

Friday evening september 16 th from 4h pm to 6h pm

Saturday septembre 17 th from 11h am to 6h pm

Sunday september 18 th from 11h am to 5h pm

The city of Sherbrooke becomes the lantern city for a week-end with the Rivières de Lumières festival.

3 light parades will join at the Marché de la Gare wich will become a night market filled with a sparkling ambiance and animation. You will discover local products and you can attend a show. That's a rendez-vous at 7h00 pm friday and saturday september 16 th and 17 th.

So you have the possibility to go at La Grande Coulée festival in Mont-Orford and arrive on time at the beginning of Rivières des Lumières in Sherbrooke. That's a pleasant 2 for 1 !

For families of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, the 2022 edition of the Festival of tales and legends will take place from thursday september 15 th to thursday september 22.

For people of Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches regions, septembre 17 - 18 th, more than 13 delicious local business of the fabulous Montmagny region offer tasting products like bread, pastries, maple products, sweet treats, ciders and microbreweries, etc. A golden opportunity to make culinary discoveries and to meet the producers who have put their knowledge for your pleasure.
