Hey Hey the adventurers! 

Here are the chronic weekend ideas to give you ideas for activities and make you fully enjoy the weekend with family.

In today’s chronic, there are suggestions for the people of the Trois-Rivières region and the crown of Montreal.

For the people of Laval and the surrounding area, the Family Fun event will take place at the Parc Lausanne in Laval on Friday, August 26 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  

There will be: 

• Inflatable games
• Jumping shoes
• A musical booth
• Interactive games
• A mobile library
• Workshops for teenagers
• Food for sale
• Children can get makeup
• Educazoo will be on site with animals
• Several other activities offered 

Please note that in case of rain, the event may be cancelled. 

For families near Trois-Rivières, the large PoutineFest will be at the "Centre Les Rivières" from August 26 to 28th,  in the afternoon and evening. Admission to the site is free.

On site you can stuff your face in: 

• Poutine
• Ate fresh cheese
• Sweeten your beak at Miss Croquignoles' dessert truck.
• Have fun on a giant inflatable game course over 300 feet long to burn extra calories.
• More surprises await you on the spot 

Note that the PoutineFest has gone green and serves food in reusable dishes. In addition, a portion of the sales will be given back to Operation Enfant Soleil. That’s several good reasons to go there. 

In Montreal, on Saturday, August 27, from 10 am to 7 pm, there is "La Fête de la Famille d'Hochelaga-Maisonneuve". Several community organizations, parents and merchants have prepared a noteworthy day where there will be entertainment and several free activities such as:

• Of sports activities
• Of dance and music
• Theater shows  
• Several kiosks to meet with Hochelaga-Maisonneuve organizations 

For families on Montreal’s South Shore, the City of Brossard is organizing a Family Party at Briand Park on Saturday, August 27 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. If you go, don’t forget to bring your picnic. 

On the spot, there will be

• Shows
• Animation
• Inflatable games

In addition, organizations from the city will be present to present their sports programming this fall. 

Please note that dogs are not allowed at the event.
