1) When I met Catherine from Framboises et Parapluies

When I first met Catherine, it was at a Mamans En Affaires event. I realised that we had so much in common. She talked about her family. Twins named Charlie and Gabriel. She hesitated to name her Charlie, Alaska. Icouldn't believe it. Only Nicolas was missing to make it almost like my own family. Maybe one day for her.

We don't have just the name of our kids in common. We also have entrepreneurship, family, helping others and creativity to name a few. One thing led to another, Catherine talk to me about her company Framboises et Parapluies.

Her boyfriend and her started their enterprise during the pandemic crisis. They had to pick raspberries days and nights alone, under umbrellas has rain shelters. It was so epic that they named their company Framboises et Parapluies that mean Raspberries and Umbrellas.

2) Framboises et Parapluies constantly growing

Since then, they doubled the area of raspberries cultivation, they added u-pick strawberry field, squashes and pumpkins and created a fun giant maïs maze. The mini-farm and play structures will also make sure that your visit to Framboises et Parapluies will be a successful family outing.

They have autumn crop, so you can still go to stock up or just fill your tummy with yummy fresh berries from Quebec.

I forgot to say that its for an affordable price. Plus, 1$ will go to Opération Enfant-Soleil for each ticket purchased. Aren't they nice ? Don't hesitate to visit them if you go near Saint-Chrysostome in Monteregie.

3) My visit at Framboises et Parapluies

I couldn't miss the opportunity to visit them. My kids really enjoyed it a lot ! They had fun in the play structures and visiting the mini-farm.

After, they helped us picking autumn strawberries (I didn't know they taste so sweet). I wonder if Nicolas ate more strawberries than he picked ? Once we were done with strawberries, we went for raspberries. Charlie had the perfect words to describe them. They taste just like cake. They were so delicious and raspberry bushes were taller than me. It was a real pleasure picking them.

My thoughts went for my 88 years old Grandma who have so much fun picking astronomical quantities of berries each summer. Im excited to see her eyes light up when I will explain to her that I went berry picking in september.

I put the berries in my camping-car refrigerator and then we took a little time to relax before going in the corn maze. I really liked it. There is an enigma to solve. Inspired by the ©Clue game, you have to find who kidnapped mr. Pitre, where it happened and wich weapon was used to commit the crime. We did great, except the fact that I lost my little notebook I used for our discoveries right at the end. It was a bit more complicated to solve the investigation. Im not quite ready to be a detective.

Before going back home, kids insisted to play for a while in the play structures and visit again the mini-farm. They didn't want to left the place. That's a big sign that they really enjoyed their afternoon.
