Charlie and Tata the famous
During our many trips this summer, we were in Victoriaville. We discovered a few minutes from the city center, a farm of Alpagas. The time had come for Charlie to meet the real animals behind her favorite plush.
The Alpacas of Ham Nature are located on a hill and the scenery alone charmed me. I had not even met the friendly Annick who is the owner of the farm. In addition, we were lucky enough to be the only family during our meeting with the Alpacas.
Charlie was really excited and she was having a hard time holding back. However, we must remain calm, not run and especially not shout when we are close to his furry friends. Fortunately, she was able to behave properly despite all her excitement and we were able to enter their enclosure.
Annick offers a guided tour filled with relevant explanations to learn more about the animal, its breeding, its behaviors, its wool, etc. It was even possible for Charlie to feed her new friends. Everything is done with the greatest respect for the animals. The owner watches over their well-being.
Charlie encounter with real Alpacas
After our close encounter, the children were able to have fun in the annexed games modules near the wonderful shop filled with items made with Alpaca wool such as stockings, soles, tuques, mittens, scarves, hide-necks, toutoutous, knitting wool and I forget so much there were beautiful products.
